Corsair RM1000x ATX 3.1 1000W Power Supply

9.1/10

Six months powering an RTX 5090 build, and the RM1000x hasn't flinched. Zero shutdowns, zero coil whine, and the fan doesn't spin until I push past 500W. Corsair took the most trusted midrange PSU line and updated it for the realities of modern GPU power delivery. The native 12V-2x6 connector, ATX 3.1 transient handling, and 10-year warranty make this the PSU I'd put in any high-end build without a second thought.

Seasonic Focus GX-850 ATX 3.1 850W Power Supply

8.9/10

Four months in my RTX 5080 build and the Seasonic Focus GX-850 has been invisible in the best way. Dead silent under normal loads, tight voltage regulation, and compact enough to fit in mid-towers and some ITX cases. If your GPU draws under 400W, 850W gives you plenty of headroom without paying for wattage you'll never touch. This is the PSU I recommend for most builders.

APC Back-UPS Pro 1500VA (BR1500MS2)

8.2/10

I've run my gaming PC and monitor off this UPS for over a year. It handles brownouts silently, gives me enough runway to save and shut down during outages, and the AVR keeps my system stable when input voltage dips. The stepped sine wave is the only real knock against it. If you need pure sine for audio gear or a NAS, step up to the SMT line. For a gaming rig or home office, this is the UPS I'd recommend.
